Tri tacke Belgrade, 27 April 2018 -  Three Points activists took part in a consultative meeting organized by the Anti-Corruption Agency
 
The aim of the meeting, which was conceived as a group interview, was to retrospect on the previous cooperation between the Agency and the civil society organizations, to map its successes and weaknesses and to provide guidance for future cooperation.
The representatives of civil society organizations actively discussed and provided representatives of the Agency with feedback, among other, on the role of the Agency, on visibility of its work, as well as on cooperation between CSOs and the Agency.

Access to citizenship and to rights arising from citizenship - Visit to Kosovska Mitrovica

Kosovska Mitrovica, 13 April 2018 - Research and analytical work for a policy proposal was concluded during a meeting that took place in Kosovska Mitrovica.
 
At a meeting held on April 11-13 in Kosovska Mitrovica, the Three Points activists and the staff of NGO Aktiv concluded the research and analytical work and finalised the policy proposal on access to citizenship and to rights arising from citizenship.
During this assignment, the Three Points activists focused on legal framework of the Republic of Serbia - among other on regulations administering the issuance of documents issued by the Serbian Ministry of Interior Coordination Directorate for Kosovo and Metohija, then on the content of regulations of the Republic of Serbia on citizenship and on (types of) travel documents, then on steps (not) taken by the authorities of the Republic of Serbia to address the problems faced by holders of documents issued by the Coordination Directorate that reside in Kosovo and, finally, on legal and other mechanisms available to members of non-majority communities in Kosovo that may help / provide support in solving problems that arise in regard to access to citizenship and rights arising from citizenship.
The NGO Aktiv staff members were focused on editing and on finalising of policy proposal, as well as on drafting of recommendations for decision makers.

Access to citizenship and to rights arising from citizenship - Cooperation with the NGO Aktiv

Belgrade, 1 March 2018 - Activists of our organization will cooperate in research and analytical work, within one of the components of the project implemented in Kosovo by NGO Aktiv
The implementation of the project ""Providing sustainable framework for civic participation and democratic decision-making on local and central institutional level in Kosovo" started back in December 2016. The aim of the project is to support the efforts of NGO Aktiv to contribute to pluralistic and inclusive decision-making practices in Kosovo that take into account interests and needs of minority communities as a prerequisite for the creation of democratic and tolerant society. 
The project envisaged the preparation and publishing of several policy proposals that will be directed towards the Kosovo authorities. The Three Points activists will contribute to drafting one of the policy proposals, namely of one related to access to citizenship and to rights arising from citizenship.

Presentation at the "Challenges for civil society in assisting, supporting, working with and inclusion of migrants" training in Nis

Nis. 26 December 2017 - "Challenges for civil society in assisting, supporting, working with and inclusion of migrants" training for representatives of civil society organizations that advocate or provide support and / or assistance to victims of trafficking and gender-based violence, protection for children, migrants and refugees, was held on 25 - 27 December in Nis.
 
The training was held within the "Transnational Coalition of Southeast European NGOs for the Protection of Women and Children from Trafficking and Gender-Based Violence - STOP" project, coordinated by the Roma Center for Democracy.
On this occasion, the Three Points activist and project consultant Andjelka Markovic presented to CSO representatives the results of the opinion surveys on the problem of trafficking in human beings and the problem of gender-based violence in Serbia, conducted in the course of the project. During the second lecture, she presented the key challenges in combating gender-based violence and human trafficking identified separately in Albania, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in FYR Macedonia, Serbia and in Kosovo*.

"Preventing and Fighting Human Trafficking in Serbia" - Cooperation in the activity to be carried out by the Council of Europe

Tri tacke Belgrade, 12 September 2017 -  Our activist was selected as one of the consultants to take part in "Preventing and Combating Human Trafficking in Serbia" Action  on an as needed basis.
 As part of the European Union and Council of Europe programmatic framework “Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey”, the Council of Europe will implement the action “Preventing and Combating Trafficking in Human Beings in Serbia”. The activity will be implemented in close cooperation with the institutions, as well as in cooperation with civil society organizations..

The action, which started on 1 October 2016 and will end on 30 June 2018, will focus on supporting the preventive efforts and combating trafficking in human beings, as well as on improving legislation, policies and practices in particular areas.
Advice and support will be provided by experts in the field of combating human trafficking who have been selected by the Council of Europe in competitive process and will be engaged on an as needed basis. Among them is the Three Points activist, Andjelka Markovic.

"Regional Policies Proposals" round table was held in Belgrade

Belgrade, 31 January 2017 - The round table "Regional policies proposals for illegal migration, fighting trafficking in human beings, and recommendations for future national strategies for preventing and suppressing violence against women in the family and in partnerships and strategies for prevention of trafficking in human beings " was held in the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade.
On this occasion, NGO Three Points activist and project consultant Andjelka Markovic presented to representatives of institutions, civil sector activists and experts the preliminary findings of opinion survey of citizens on the problem of trafficking in human beings and the problem of gender-based violence in Serbia, conducted during the project.
The round table was held within the "Transnational Coalition of Southeast European NGOs for the Protection of Women and Children from Trafficking and Gender-Based Violence - STOP" project coordinated by Roma Center for Democracy.
Surveys of opinions of the general public, as well as of opinions of the expert public were carried out  within the project so far. Then, on the basis of collected information, the proposals of national strategies, as well as proposals of regional policies and recommendations for successful suppression of the problems of human trafficking and gender-based violence in communities in the region were drafted. During the round table, these proposals were presented as well.

Against Gender-Based Violence and Human Trafficking in the South East Europe Region

Vranje, 5 October 2016 - Activists of our organization will cooperate in research and analytical work, within one of the components of the cross-border project on combating human trafficking and gender-based violence.
The main goal of the project is to enable civil society organizations in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo* and FYR Macedonia to participate and to improve the process of dialogue with the authorities, thus influencing the process of policy implementation and decision-making in relation to problems of human trafficking and gender based violence.
The four-year project is implemented in partnership by organizations from Albania, Serbia, Kosovo*, from Bosnia and Herzegovina and FYR Macedonia.
